Did anyone think in mid-March that we would still be quarantined close to two months later? Of course, we understand why, but that doesn't necessarily make it any easier to accept. But let’s focus on the positives: time outdoors, family bonding, and detoxing from the hectic pace of life that – with hope – will soon return!
To be sure, the cloud of uncertainty is tough for all. Each of us handles these circumstances differently - some shut down, others become uber-productive... and most are somewhere in between. Regardless, at least for the near future, abnormal may be the "new normal," so finding a way to manage is our charge.
"The quarantine is a stressful situation for all; I see it at home with my three girls. Hockey is an excellent tool during this unexpected downtime, as it can anchor a routine that incorporates age-appropriate skills and conditioning. Not only can the girls stay active and become better hockey players, but they feel productive and have a sense of accomplishment."

With concerns for health, family, and our livelihoods in these COVID times, our shared passion for hockey is a reason to celebrate. Thinking about the physical and competitive outlet and camaraderie that the return to play will bring gives our girls hope. All of us are excited to get back in the rink SAFELY so that we can deliver our positive, trademark Sharks hockey experience.
In the interim, stay safe and healthy. Please reach out to us with any questions, concerns or thoughts,
