Ary Wilson committed to playing DIII hockey at Salve Regina in the Fall of 2023. Her academic plans are to study biology and embryology.
She started her storied hockey career in our Sand Sharks Learn to Play Clinic 18 years ago. She quickly advanced through the years, moving to our national-bound travel teams once she turned 14, playing on our U19 Tier II team most recently.
She was involved in the James Vick Foundation, which recently posted about her accomplishment. Here is what they said:
This is a momentous day for one of the most deserving competitors to ever walk through our doors. Ary is a generational talent, a first-class field hockey, lacrosse, and ice hockey player; we simply have never seen anyone with such a diverse skillset, an athlete that legitimately could have played three separate sports in college if it were actually possible.
Ary has played on most of our teams in all of our tournaments and leagues, and she has never once been anything less than an outstanding teammate. Here at the JVF, we really value the kids as people, and we have seen very few people with the heart, integrity, and courage of this warrior queen.
