The Shoreline Sharks are excited to announce that we have partnered with the Wizards to offer two new Sharks CGHL teams U12 & U14/16) at the Wonderland of Ice in Bridgeport.

Currently, limited all-girls developmental/recreational teams are available in Fairfield County.  These additional teams give those families more options to play on an all-girls hockey team.  

"This partnership is a way to offer the Wonderland teams an opportunity to play with an established organization committed for the long-term to provide girls a range of opportunities to play the sport. It truly supports our mission as an all-girls hockey organization," according to Shoreline Sharks Board Chair Dan Forgie.

These two teams will play a CGHL schedule and be coached by Bill Garfield and Matt Sather. Tryouts for the Wonderland of Ice teams will take place in the Bridgeport rink. The dates are as follows: 

U12:   March 8th (7:30 - 8:30 pm) 
U14/16:   Week of April 8

The Shoreline Sharks' current Northford offering remains unchanged; we will field Tier II, NEGHL, and CGHL teams at all age brackets (U8 - U19), as previously announced.

Forgie added, "We are excited to welcome the Wizards families and players to the Shoreline Sharks organization. Our goal is to provide a range of competitive and geographic options for girls to advance to their next level of play."

The Shoreline Sharks Board of Directors expects to explore similar partnerships with other hockey organizations.
