Take a look at this season's letter from the President, Ed Rodham.
Started in 2000, Shoreline Sharks Youth Hockey is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering developmental and competitive hockey programs for girls ages 3-19. We are the largest girls' hockey program in Southern Connecticut, with over 270 participants registered for last season.
Our core programs include travel teams at multiple competitive levels from development (CGHL) to experienced (Tier II) and initiatives focused on introducing and teaching hockey to beginners through our Learn to Play Clinics, NEW House League, and Try Hockey for Free events.
We're passionate about girls hockey and are proud of our development-first focus for all levels of play from girls new to the sport to nationally competitive players.
Our goal is to be the best player development program in the region. As we’ve grown to be the largest girls-only youth hockey organization in Southern Connecticut with over 250 registered participants, adding more programming opportunities for new and existing players, regardless of experience or level of competitiveness.
With back-to-back USA Hockey National Championship titles the past two years, an expansive tiered travel team structure, and one of the most robust Learn to Play programs in the region, we think we have something for everyone. We’re are proud of our 90% player retention rate and consistently positive feedback about our purpose, operational excellence, and impact on so many girls’ lives.
Our program highlights include:
We have a lot of momentum as a hockey organization with our accomplishments from last season, growth over the past five years, and a distinctly positive culture. Welcome to the Shoreline Sharks!
